considering purchase of 2nd hand Meade ETX 125 premium edition 4000-are they any good?
Hi Sue cameraworld in chelmsford essex sell the canon 1100d dslr for £289 but you get a £30cashback from canon so for £259 you get a very nice dslr. yep i have one.

Hi Sue I must say that i agree with djbozz on this. Just had a look at his old posts and the telescope is Sky-Watcher Explorer 200P EQ5 PRO SynScan. Very nice atb karl

The goto was on the meade and was noisy at night. My skywatcher goto motors was not as noisy but still bad. I'm very glad your having a good time with your new scope. But take whats on the box with a pinch of salt. have fun and enjoy Claire k…

I have a 127 skywatcher skymax but without the goto and i think it's very good. Nice and light and clear views i did not want the goto version because of the noise. I have had 2 telescopes with goto in the past and both were very noisy at night…

I have the SkyMax 127mm Maksutov-Cassegrain I had 2 130mm telescopes in the last year but sold them and got the 127 and to me it's a lot better atb karl

Cameraworld just google the name are selling the canon eos 1100d and lens for £289 with a £30 cashback from canon so for £259 you will be getting a very good starter dslr camera. And is easy to use as any point and shoot camera. Happy new year Jack

Cool Stephen we have the same camera's but i wanted a sony a57 but cameraworld in chelmsford were selling the canon for £289 and £30 cashback so she only paid £259 so it was a to good of a deal to pass. saving up now for a new scope
