I watched that program betelgeuse, it was very interesting. I remember at the end it said Kepler has enough fuel to continue searching for years to come. Then I read the news on it breaking down!! I really hope they can free up the wheel or at least…

hi Sue. I managed to pick it out between a gap in the clouds with the naked eye. small and faint but I could make out the two tails.

Comet to hit Mars?
the scientific value of either outcome is amazing. an impact would be much be better though lol. it would thicken up that atmosphere for awhile, possibly unearth some buried life forms? Mars would certainly warm up that's for sure.

exactly, its only a matter of time before it happens. there's all the time in the world for it to happen... quite literally. nice write up.

Couldn't believe when I saw the news this morning because as I was out last night viewing I thought to myself, when will we get hit by something and what damage will it cause. I guess I got my answer quicker than expected.

Is earth 2.0 closer than we thought?
I believe so aswell. Something could be lurking on or beneath the surface of another world, using something totally bizarre as an energy source. Its fascinating stuff to think about.
