I am based up on the wirral, just across the river from liverpool and its blinding lights, the darkest spot I have found within peddling distance is Caldy way overlooking the River Dee past Wirral Country Park.

I have luckily got myself a ticket to go on the mersey ferry into the irish sea as part of stargazing live with a bbc filmcrew and some astro experts on monday 16th. Cannot wait. Fingers crossed for some clear skies. Really excited.
