The moon looks fantastic when it's still light outside, just on the brink of going dark.

Wow, fantastic djbozz.
I like the Moon when it's low to the horizon and full in the fading light. It looks very impressive, and has all that weird Moon illusion craziness going on too.
But there's nothing like when it's in crescent phase and making a close conjunction with a bright planet or planets.
That catches everyone's attention. -
