    Hello everyone, Has any of you heard that there are two comets in the night sky,
    1, Comet 2009 p1 Garradd, heading west through Pegasus.(South Pegasus)
    2, Comet 2010 X1 Elenin, in western Virgo.
    comet 2 may become a naked eye object in August/October,
    for those of you who has never seen a comet this should be a nice mission...

    Comet Garradd according to this site will be around in mid summer, but will not be bright. It will brighten to magnitude 7 by the end of the year http://www.ast.cam.ac.uk/~jds/preds11.pdf

    Comet Elenin looks like it won't be naked eye. But very dark skies & binos may be needed to see it. Here it is on the Nasa site

    I remember seeing Comet Hale-Bopp in the late nineties,i think is was.
    On a clear night you couldn't miss it.Was the the thing that really made me start looking up.
    Not sure if we will see it again but i will never forget it...awesome :)

    I know it is too early to get excited about these comets but still I am makeing this my mission, all you can do is keep looking.
