Got back to Oxford at about 2300 last nite after a long rail trip down from northern England, walked home via the fields, and Scorpius had moved into the least light polluted area of the skies, scanning the skies with my 8x20 binocs.and picked up M4 no prob.[was actually looking for m80].Ive seen it before but when Ive been looking for it and it normally needs averted vision at such low evevations but it really stuck out last nite.Reckon high up it must be a rival of M13?PS,No luck with M80!
