  • thanks for the input Colin,it seems these scopes are late 70's ish but i have tried to find details but no joy, have emailed takashi in japan a bit cheeky but who knows,my spotting scope i use is a AKAH scope 18-54x60 it is really good clear and awsome for the moon.just a little confused over the eye piece's i have for this GREENKAT i'm sure some of the more experienced chappies here may be able to shed some light on my problem,
  • Hi everyone! I am new to this and have bought a Skywatcher. It has a Barlow lens, a super 10 and a super 25. I'm really confused about these lenses. I can just about manage to use the red dot finder but I don't feel at all confident. The moon looked amazing but I haven't managed to see much else of interest. Can any one out there give me a few tips?
  • Have a look on You Tube, there is a really good set up guide on there for the Skywatcher 130. I had one and when I watched that it helped me lots, anything in particular you want post again and I am sure someone will help you, loads of really good people on here. Oh, by the way, make sure the red dot finder is lined up properly with the scope.
  • Thanks, that is really helpful and I found a lot more info by searching for the video. T his is a great site for beginners like me!
