im looking to by a barlow x2, sorry to sound like a complete plonker here, but, will i need adapers, or are all lenses and adapters standard sizes ??

If your looking to buy a X2 Barlow get it to fit 1.25" that way your existing eyepieces will fit, the other size usually found on bigger scopes is 2".
