hi there, not been on since before new year, a combination of bad weather and our daughtters wedding seem to have curtailed my sky watching. However stellarium seems to have saved the day. but. can any of you more experiencd members vouch for its accuracy. it seems very good to me, but, what do I know. would appreciate your opinions. Many thanks.

I use stellarium all the time and has always been spot on for me.

Hi, Stellarium is extremely popular and must be very accurate, I've never heard of any issues with it. If you want to see where Mars is in the sky 100 years in the future, and I bet it is dead on :-)

I use that too, it's a very useful program, extremely easy to use to.
