I sure hope some other folks observed what my daughter and I saw Sunday evening Nov. 27. 2011. As we were traveling home, to San Antonio,driving on Interstate 10W starting in Houston Texas at about 6:30 pm we first noticed the moon was out and then it began to increase in size and eventually descended into the horizon, out of view as we were only about 20 miles from home, coming over an elevated area we actually saw the moon descend out of sight at approximately 9:40 pm. The sky was clear so it could not have gotten covered by clouds. We were perplexed and tried to google info about this but was not successful. We did not see it again unless it came out after 11 pm which is when we went to bed. Do you have any info/explanation?
