Things to look out for…
After dusk-Venus is visible blazing bright in the south-west
Early evening-Jupiter visible in the south, setting in the west beyond midnight
Late evening-Mars rises in the east below Leo
Beyond midnight-Saturn rises in the east in Virgo
Dusk on 25th February 2012-The waxing crescent Moon just 1.3 degrees from Venus in the west. Mercury, and Jupiter also on view nearby
March 3rd 2012-Mars opposition
Dusk on 12/13th March 2012-Venus and Jupiter conjuction, 2.2 degrees apart low in the south-west at dusk
April 3rd 2012-Venus passes across the western edge of the Pleiades Cluster
Pre dawn hours of 22nd April-The Lyrids Meteor Shower peak
