This is an image of the recent solar eclipse as taken by the Esa Probe-2 satellite, a peice of sophistiacted hardware designed to test out new science equipment for future ESA missions. The satellite is designed for studying the Sun, it’s solar storms, coronal mass ejections, and other space weather. It is small at just a cubic metre and has 17 new technologies on board that are being demonstrated, before being implemented into new full sized spacecraft.
